Over the years, I have had so many people tell me about there great idea or invention. Although some have been really good, others just didn't have what it takes to bring it to market without spending a ton of money.
So why talk to me about products or inventions?
Well, I invented my first product at 14 years old. Two years later we had it on the market. Before bringing it to market, we had the product evaluated by a government agency and it ranked in the top 2% of Canadian inventions of all time.
With a very limited market we ended up selling 60,000 units back when there was no internet. These were pretty good results for our first attempt at bringing a product to market.
Since then, various family members have also invented, marketed and distributed many other products. One product found my father in a legal battle with one of the biggest companies in the world over trademark infringement. This actually ended up being a great experience because he successfully defended himself and won. So we know a little about the legal side of things as well.
My other products include a full color book that sold over 10,000 units at $60 per copy. A 4 DVD Video Series that has sold over 5,000 units at $100 per copy and a monthly video program.
