Question - How much will it cost to re-design our website?
In order to figure out a cost for your new website, we have to understand what your needs are. The price will obviously vary depending on how many pages and elements your site will contain. If you are looking to sell a product online or offline and are in need of a salesletter type of website then this would be much cheaper than a site with databases or a huge inventory of products that you are selling. Also, we really need to know what you are trying to do. If you are only providing information for you current customers and won't need to rely on optimizing your site for search engines then you may want a site that is heavy on graphics as opposed to keyword rich content. OWN Designs - How long does it take to get our site ranked in the search engines?
OWN Designs takes pride in delivering your new website quickly. Because it is impossible to predict when the search engines will index your website, the faster we can complete it and get it online, the faster it may start showing up in the search engines. Unfortunately, it's not just as easy as uploading your website and gaining tons of traffic. It is a ongoing process. Your site may need to be tweaked or more links may need to be generated to gain more popularity to increase its rankings.
How much will our sales increase?
This is impossible to predict but if your site is showing up in the search engines, you should expect increased phone calls, emails and customers coming into your store. More and more people are going online to investigate stores, product pricing, services etc. because it's much easier to do this research at home on their own time. By having a well designed and optimized website, you can take advantage of this traffic.
Can you host our website?
Currently, we do not offer website hosting. In the future we may offer this service. If you need help finding a host then please let us know and we will let you know some of the best website hosting services that we have used and found.
Are we locked into a monthly contract?
No. If you would like us to maintain your website then please let us know and we can figure out an affordable price. By letting us maintain your website it will allow you more time to sell or promote your business.
What information do we need to supply?
Website do take time to create. Because we don't know your business as well as you do, you will need to provide descriptions and information that is to be incorporated into the design. This information will be re-written so that it is well optimized for the the search engines so don't worry if you are not a great writer. Also, we have a copywriter that can craft articles, commercials, scripts and content if you just don't have time to supply us with this information. Please let us know your situation and we will be glad to find the best solution.
Do we get a copy of our website?
We believe that if you buy something you own it. We will provide you will your whole website on a disc so you will have a copy of your whole website.
